I have noticed a sharpening of awareness and consciousness taking place both within and without lately. So, I am looking to reflect this in my writing and break new ground. As I write this, the picture that instantly pops into my head is that of a vast and empty plain swept by the winds; clouds and intermittent shards of sunshine racing low and fast above the land. This is a place that is both wild and untamed, warm and welcoming… The epitome of female energy. And in case you haven’t noticed, there is change going on in the world right now. We are accelerating on our path of transformation, and amidst all the emerging darkness and negativity reflected in current events and happenings, I am here to tell you that when you know what’s going on, it really is great out there right now. A challenging thing to write maybe… Indeed, the time has come to challenge ourselves awake. So, what is going on?

Most people describe change as a process, but it’s actually very digital. Change happens at the unconscious level, and it is instant. This goes against accepted ideas that it takes a long time to do it, and as Mark Twain said, “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” I agree. Now is the time to question and change everything. Strong words again, I know. But remember that tradition is a guide, not a jailer. It’s time to be clear about what we want, and make it happen. People who think about changing and struggle with the process actually don’t want to change. Otherwise they would have. Think about it: if you want to stand up, you don’t spend an hour sitting in your chair designing an action plan on how to do it. You just do it. In the same way, you instantly become who you want to be when you want to be it. The thing to process is the stuff that stops you wanting it at the unconscious level in the first place. Once the obstacles are removed, the change will be instant. Then, you can take action to consolidate it. That’s when goals are helpful, to give you a sense of direction, and how best to perpetuate the new version of yourself that you have now become.

What about the collective change taking place out there then? Let’s take the #MeToo movement for example. It’s not that we are becoming less tolerant of the things we don’t prefer, it’s just that this change has already happened, and now, we are processing the results of it. It’s like this: I was on my hands and knees cleaning my kitchen floor the other day. And at first, the more I cleaned, the more muck came up! This is what is happening throughout the world now: we have cleaned-up our act, and so, all that invisible muck we could not see before is coming to the surface to be cleaned away. It’s a natural result of instant positive change having taken place. That’s why I say it’s good to see so much negative. I mean this on every level, too. In my own life, I’m resolving issues and letting go of negative definitions and beliefs at an unprecedented rate – it’s a little jolting sometimes, but I know what’s going on, so I just flow with it. In my wider circle, I see people processing this change through a variety of different ways too; illness, violence… We are all involved in a process of catharsis, clarification, and purification, adding to the collective transformation. We are already different people, even though few of us realise it. But when we do, we can work with the change instead of against it. We can create more of the things we want and spend zero time and energy fighting the things we don’t. There is no need to go into battle against what is, since it is only a reflection of who we used to be before. The thing to do is just to integrate that, assimilate it, accept it, love it, and make peace with our past; and then turn toward the new. The trick is to enjoy the transformation, no matter how hard it feels. We have and are constantly changing and becoming more. I do believe a new race of humans will emerge out of this process. It’s like punching through the pretend wall we have been hiding behind all this time. There is a brand-new world out there, an entire universe to discover. Our time has come to stop being afraid and embrace all that we are. Get out there and play in the light.
